If tomorrow's the end of the world...

How would you spend your last day alive? What would be your thoughts, who would you want to be with?

How many times had we spent all our efforts at work and work, neglecting the very people we are working to give a better life to?

Being ahead in the rat race may gives you a lead in your bank account but how much money is needed to buy lost time?

So take a step off the accelerator and enjoy the glide. Bask in the ambience of stressless happiness.

I fully agree with you.... some people really need to slow down and think what is the purpose of all these mad (work-related) rushes in life.

I always think that companies are 'heartless set-ups'. And we should not give too much to them...just enough to earn a living and let us still have some pride in our work. Cos, if anything happens to us, they will move on and employ another worker as replacement. That's reality. It's those people who we have failed to spend time with, (in the midst climbing the corporate ladder) who will mourn our demise.
